Diocese of Leeds select Church Edit for their new website
The new Diocese of Leeds website has gone live following a big migration project from their previous website involving the Diocese communications team and Church Edit. The project involved migrating 1,000s of pages, images and documents from their previous website over to Church Edit. As a Diocese they have utilised a lot of features that Church Edit has developed for larger sites including tagging for filtering news articles and documents. The Diocese of Leeds now becomes the 21st Church of England Diocese to be using Church Edit.
Our design team worked with the Diocese of Leeds brilliant communications team to understand the branding and style guidelines of the Diocese as well as the information that they wanted to highlight on the homepage. Having received the database of their current website, our technical team then started to work on migrating this content into Church Edit to minimise the manual work that the Diocese needed to do.
"Development and delivery of our new website was carried out with great efficiency and most importantly - patience and understanding.
Church Edit supplied technical expertise, plus the valuable benefit of knowing how a Church of England diocese works and how its constituent parts view themselves and their stakeholders.
The six month project was completed to time and to budget, resulting in a bright, new user-driven website which has been very well received. "
