Communication:
Are you ready for Church!?

An online presence has never been more important. Ensuring your website is relevant and is kept up to date is vital for communicating the Gospel and all things Church life to your people and out into the community.

When people view your site, are they seeing things like details of your current sermon series and what’s coming up in the next few months? Whether it’s plans for online services or gathering together properly as a Church again, ensuring everyone is up to date is important so that nobody misses out and they know what to expect! Your website can help you here.

Do you have a plan?

With restrictions continuing to be eased and Church gatherings looking back on the cards (woohoo!), have you got a plan in motion for a swift return to in person Sunday services where the congregation can once again belt out, ‘Great is Thy Faithfulness!’ together and have a cuppa with a biscuit after the service? Who’s on the hospitality rota? Who’s on Media? Let us encourage you to get thinking!

Give them something to be excited about!

With restrictions still in place for now, you can easily provide instructions around what attending services looks like at the minute to ensure safety and regulations are met. However, as things continue to ease, revealing your plans for future gatherings is a way to ensure people know what to expect and address any concerns people may have.

Maybe you’re starting back in stages or your services will continue to look a little different than before, so providing details as to what that looks like simply keeps everybody in the loop and not only keeps them involved, but gives them something to look forward to!

Update your Calendar

Add your Sunday gatherings and other Church events to your calendar so people know what’s on and when, and any information on how to book your place etc.

Quick Updates

Things can change unexpectedly, or there may simply be something you can’t wait to share and want everyone to see. Use your site to provide quick, important updates on your homepage where everyone can see them. Add them and remove them with ease!

Praise God that one day soon we shall be back together, “addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with our hearts, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ” (Ephesians 5:19-21). May the absence stir our hearts to worship together like never before!
